Klaus Tagua Earrings – Sculptural Simplicity from the Solid Light Collection
The Klaus Tagua Earrings are a minimalist design with maximum impact. Part of the Solid Light Collection, created exclusively for the National Museum in Oslo, these earrings celebrate modern craftsmanship, clean lines, and material integrity.
Each bead is laser-cut from organic Tagua nut—also known as vegetable ivory—to achieve sculptural precision and lightness. The earrings are completed with a handmade 925 sterling silver hook, attached without glue, for a seamless and refined finish.
Subtle yet architectural, NAM #8 earrings are a timeless expression of contemporary Nordic design paired with South American heritage.

Our jewellery is handcrafted from natural tagua nut — also known as vegetable ivory — a sustainable, biodegradable material harvested from the tagua palm in South America. Consciously made, naturally beautiful, lightweight and great to wear!
The metals we use:
- 14k gold-filled: Multiple layers of solid 14k gold bonded to brass. More durable and gold-rich than regular plating — won't fade with daily wear.
- Sterling silver: 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Strong, beautiful, and durable. Avoid water, salt, and humidity; clean with a jewellery polishing cloth.
- Stainless steel: Tarnish-resistant, durable, and hypoallergenic — ideal for sensitive skin.
